Quark award IPA Systems "Golden Partner" status
IPA
Systems Ltd., Cheltenham, England, has been assigned a "Golden
Partner Xtensions Developer" award for 10 years development of
Quark XTensions.In correspondence from Juergen Kurz, Director of Product
Management, Quark Inc. to Keith Hemmings, Technical Director of IPA
Systems Ltd. Kurz stated:
"We are very pleased to have IPA Systems as a long standing XTensions
developer. For the last decade, they have provided our customers with
unique solutions to the challenges of this dynamic industry. The XTensions
developer community is vital to the success of Quark products and we
thanks IPA Systems for their creativity, expertise and dedication to
the Quark user base".IPA Systems first worked with XTension software
during 1989 with the development of the Macintosh based editorial system
Q-Edit and then later with the PC editorial system mETS. These products
have been sold around the world in to newspaper installations, some
of the largest being in France with individual installations of over
500 seats.
Today, the successor to Q-Edit, Edit.WORKS has just been installed at
People News papers in the Republic of Ireland. Other Xtensions include
ad-tracking software AdVisor.WORKS which has been developed on both
Macintosh and PC platforms.
