More enhancements in Version 2.0 of the Wave2 Publishing Platform

The latest version of the Wave2 Publishing Platform to be released contains numerous enhancements, Managing Director, Chris Hodges said "Customer demands are continuing to drive development forward".

• Combined document Type - This introduces the ability to handle adverts where there are multiple items being advertised. An example would be recruitment Ads where the advertiser is listing more than one job.
• Flashes - to allow a user to specify a flash to appear on adverts. Motors ads and property ads will normally benefit from this feature.
• Format Controls - a user will be able to apply simple formatting to text when building an advert. Formatting controls will be: Italic, Bold, Underline, Point Size.
• Ordering of data - to allow a user to control the order in which Apollo will place content in an advert.
• Routing Enhancements - provide users with the ability to specify the output destination from Apollo User Interface.
• Image Crop - feature to allow users to crop an image before submitting it for inclusion in an advert.
• Enhanced Image manipulation - more options for the rules engine for fitting images. Added control of cropping within configuration tool.
• Calculate appropriate styles sizes - submit content to server to obtain a list of possible styles and sizes that will be suitable for building the advert. .
