IPA PRINTEXPRESS ON SHOW AT THE BRITISH LIBRARY FRONT PAGE EXHIBITION

The Daily Telegraph in association with IPA Systems Limited is assisting with the Front Page Exhibition running until 8 October 2006. Recently opened by the Queen, the exhibition celebrates 100 years of the British Newspaper.

A highlight of the exhibition is the virtual newsroom; visitors can use computer terminals to experience the excitement and frustrations of being a front page journalist.

Having compiled your own front page with the help of virtual editors, made your deadline (or not), you can output your page through the IPA PrintExpress workflow system, which also includes ReelColour proofing software. Your personal front page is output to wide format plotters using newsprint reel ends, so you can take your front page away with you.

IPA is very proud that the Daily Telegraph chose to use PrintExpress for this exhibition; PrintExpress is used extensively by the Daily Telegraph to manage workflow to numerous print centres around the world.

Having been suppliers of technology to the publishing industry for more than the last 100 years, IPA strongly recommends spending a little time at this free exhibition, it is fascinating and already one of the most visited exhibitions of recent times at the British Library.
