IPA Systems and Scottish Provincial Press - 20-years of continuous service and support marked by two orders

Scottish Provincial Press, publishers of the Inverness Courier series of newspapers and magazines has placed two significant orders marking a 20-year relationship between the two companies.

Continuing on from smaller Edit.Works expansion projects across the group during 2003/4, an order has been placed to upgrade Sales.WORKS advertising system to version 3. The project will not only provide the latest functionality but also migrate their current database to MS-SQL. A major feature of the upgrade will be the inclusion of the Sales.WORKS "Distributed Advert Delivery System", which will provide disaster recovery between the Elgin and Inverness offices.

The second order is for 'Dimensions', the flagship financials product from the Access Accounts range, this will replace the Miles33 CMS2000 system.

This order marks the success of an on-going development partnership between IPA, Access Accounts and Asyst International, the UK's leading supplier of Access Accounts systems to the publishing industry.

Over the last 12-months all three companies have been working together to provide a fully integrated, real-time database to database solution. IPA who have excelled in providing links to many accounts systems are delighted to be able to offer an integrated accounting solution that can match the Sales.WORKS versatility and flexibility, which are now standard requirements of modern multi-media publishing companies. Complex booking patterns that have always been available in Sales.WORKS can now be used without compromise for accounting purposes, plus real-time data exchange of accounts will bring many business benefits to Scottish & Provincial Press.
